We have been blessed with another great month! We took a trip to Arkansas in mid-November to celebrate two of Bria’s friends’ birthdays (Tyler and Alex). It was her longest road trip so far, and she did great! She had so much fun at the party and enjoyed meeting lots of new people. She is so very friendly!!

For Thanksgiving, we went to Missouri to Aunt Julie and Uncle Bud’s house. She ate turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie—the works! She loved it all and ate so much! She had a great time playing with her cousins for a few days and charmed all the family with her precious smile and friendly personality! She even got to play the piano for the first time while she was there, and she thought that was great!

She had another doctor visit this week, and she is doing so well! She is right on track developmentally and is growing, growing, growing! She is now 30 inches tall and weighs 22 pounds!! We are so proud—she has gained over 6 pounds in the three months she’s been with us, and she is now in the 10th percentile on the growth charts! She has 4 teeth now and another one just peeking through—her smile is so precious! Her vocabulary continues to grow, and she carries on quite a “conversation” all day long.

We are looking so forward to Christmas—her 1st Christmas in America! What a tremendous gift she has been to our family. We could never thank God enough for this precious, beautiful child! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!
