June was another great month! We have made so much progress with potty training. Most days are accident free—so wonderful!! Besides spending hours upon hours of this month tied to a restroom we managed to do a few other things.

We started the month with a visit from Nanny and Papa. Nanny had just returned from Ireland and brought us each souvenirs. Bria got an adorable Irish doll or as she would say “bee-bee” (her version of baby) that will for sure be a keepsake. She really loves her Nanny and Papa!

The following week we made a visit to the Oklahoma City Zoo. What a fun time!! Bria loves all the animals, but refers to most of them as “puppy.” She even called the elephants puppies—so cute! We went on a train ride through the zoo that she really enjoyed, and we were able to see an adorable baby gorilla. We all had a wonderful time!

Our next adventure took us a few hours away to GaGa and Papa’s house—way out in the country. She was able to get up close and personal with the chickens, which she also called “puppy” at first but soon learned that they were “chick-ees.” She was even able to help feed the chickens and pet a baby chick. She had a great visit with GaGa and Papa.

After leaving GaGa’s house, we headed to Arkansas to visit Bria’s friends Sam, Tyler and Alex. She had a wonderful time playing with the boys and showing them all who was in charge…

We ended the month by going to her friend Garrett’s birthday party at a place called Pump It Up. They have large inflatable slides, moonwalks, and obstacle courses. Bria was a very brave girl and attempted them all! She ate cake, dressed up in pirate gear, and giggled the night away. She had a great time!!

On June 29th, Miss Bria had her 2 year old doctor visit. She is now 31 inches (not yet on the growth chart) and weighs 25 pounds (just under the 25% on the growth chart). Her doctor said she is developmentally right on target and ahead in many areas. She has no delays at all—we are blessed!!

We are having so much fun with our little sweetie!! She is such a blessing to us all and to all those around her. It is so amazing how well she fits into our family. We cannot imagine life without her! We are looking forward to July—celebrating her 1st Fourth of July and celebrating her 2nd birthday but her first birthday with our family. We are so, so in love with this precious little angel!!!
