HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
On January 20th, Bria wished her big brother, Kaden, a happy 4th
birthday as we celebrated in Thomas the Tank Engine style. She
played games, ate cake and even got to open one present of her
own. She had a great time!
She made her first visit to Incredible Pizza this month, and she
loved it. She went “kiddy bowling,” played games, rode rides and
ate lots of pizza!
Miss Bria had a great 1st Valentine’s Day! She made lots of
money selling kisses for 25 cents—she was very busy! Her kisses
have changed a bit this month—they were big open-mouth kisses,
and now she puckers her lips and even makes the kissing sound.
Sooo sweet!!
We began celebrating Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 17th
at a party for all the area Great Wall families. She had the
opportunity to eat some wonderful Chinese food and play with
lots of other precious girls from China as well as two adorable
boys from China!
Developmentally, Bria continues to progress on schedule. Her
vocabulary grows each day; unfortunately, she has grown very
fond of the words “no” and “mine” (we are working on this…). She
follows verbal commands and understands so much of what we say
to her. It is incredible the changes that 6 months has brought,
including 12 new teeth. She is an amazing girl with true beauty
inside and out! We are so very, very blessed!!!!
