What a great month April was!! We started the month by going to see Elmo and his friends at Sesame Street Live. Bria was so excited and focused on the show. She waved at Elmo many, many times and said “Elmo, Elmo” over and over again. She danced, clapped, ate little pieces of popcorn, and tightly held her new Zoe doll. We thought she would be ready to go after the first 30 minutes, but she was happy to stay the entire show—she had a GREAT time!!!

Bria and Kaden’s friends Tyler and Alex from Arkansas went to Sesame Street Live with us and stayed the whole weekend. The kids had so much fun playing together! Bria got to enjoy her very first Easter egg hunt (a week early). She caught on quickly, found a few eggs, and then was so very excited to know that the eggs were full of candy!!

For Easter we went to Missouri to Uncle Bud and Aunt Julie’s house. She was able to hunt eggs again that weekend, and she was a pro! By the end of the hunt, she had so many eggs in her basket that each step she took a few eggs would fall out. She would bend over to pick them up, and a few more would fall out… very cute! The Easter Bunny came to visit on Sunday morning and Bria was so, so excited about all the goodies in her basket. She really loved the bunny baby doll and of course she loved all of the yummy candy! She is so precious!!

She says so many new words and has several new 2 word phrases. She says “hush up” when our dog barks, “hold you” when she wants you to pick her up, “more please” anytime she wants whatever you’re eating, “shoes off” or “shoes on” depending on what she wants at the time, and “get down” or “sit down” whichever she has just heard us say. She knows where her eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, ears, tummy, belly button, feet, hands, hair, and head are. She also says “one, two, three, GO” which she learned from her big brother. She prays before meals which includes her repeating one word at a time: “God, thank you for our food. Amen.” It is so precious! She is a very smart girl!!

Bria is such an unbelievable blessing to our family and to everyone she meets! She is such a happy and funny little girl—she makes us laugh and smile constantly throughout the day. The funniest times are the times when she cracks herself up. She will act goofy (usually involving dancing of some sort) and then burst out in her adorable giggle which then makes all of us giggle. We thank God everyday for this amazing little girl! We are so completely in love with her—she is truly beautiful inside and out!!
