In late February we went to visit Aunt Jen and Uncle Josh for their house-warming party. Bria and Kaden both had a great time playing with them and getting to see GaGa, Papa, and Aunt Glenda, too!

The first weekend of March we took a mini-vacation to Grapevine, Texas to the Great Wolf Lodge. We rode the Amtrak Heartland Flyer train down to Texas, and that was quite a treat for the kids. We spent 3 days at the Great Wolf Lodge and we had sooo much fun! It is a hotel with a huge indoor water park, an arcade and several restaurants. Bria was a bit timid at first with the water, but she got very brave by the second day and even rode on one big kid slide (she didn’t like it, though). She loved the kiddy area that had 3 smaller slides and she also loved the wave pool. We went to the movie theater and Bria saw her first movie on the big screen—Alvin and the Chipmunks. She had a great time!

On March 5th, we went to see Elmo at Sesame Street Live. Bria loved it this year just as much as she did last year. She yelled at Elmo and his friends and waved at them all, too. It was so cute!

Kaden started soccer this spring and had his first real game on March 8th. Bria loves watching Kaden play—she’s a great little cheerleader! She gets very excited for the end of the game when it’s snack-time (of course!).

We are looking forward to Easter next week when we go to visit cousins Jake, Hayley and Grace!
