HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY, BRIA!!!

Bria had a wonderful 3rd birthday party. She had several friends from church, neighbor friends and family to help her celebrate. She also had a very special guest—MINNIE MOUSE!! When she first saw Minnie she giggled and giggled, and then she started to cry. She was scared for a few minutes, but she warmed up to Minnie quickly. Minnie brought all of the girls a Minnie doll and all of the boys a Mickey doll. The best part was—she signed her name to all of the dolls she gave out—the kids were excited.

After taking pictures with Minnie we decided to play hide-n-seek with her. The kids all went in a bedroom to count while Minnie went to hide. Each time we found Minnie, she gave us a treasure! We hid from her a few times, too. It was so much fun! After all that hide-n-seek play, Minnie was hungry. We went outside and found cheese all over the back yard. The kids went on a cheese hunt for Minnie collecting the cheese and dropping it into Minnie’s basket. They had a great time!

We came back inside and danced with Minnie, ate cake and ice cream with Minnie, and then said good-bye to our sweet friend. She had to go back to Disney with her friend Mickey. We were so sad to see her go, but SO happy she came!

After cake and ice cream, Bria opened her presents. She got many wonderful gifts: a make-up set, two new dolls, dress up clothes, a tea set, a vacuum, an umbrella, three new dresses, and a new book. She loved all of her presents! Her gift from our China trip was a Chinese puppet and a beautiful pearl and jade bracelet.

After all of the presents were opened, the kids played with the toys a while, played outside and then we ended the party with a Minnie piñata full of LOTS of candy. We all had a wonderful time helping our precious Bria celebrate her big day. This was such a special year because she really knew what was going on. She was counting down the days until her birthday and kept asking, “Am I going to get presents?” “Are my friends going to come?” “Am I going to be 3?” She was very excited about this birthday!

When we sent out invitations, we sent one to Minnie, too. I told Bria I wasn’t sure if Minnie was coming—we would just have to wait and see… We talked about Minnie lots before the party—would she come or would she be too busy? When Bria saw Minnie, she said, “She came, mom.” She was so happy to have such a special guest at such a special party.

We love our precious 3 year old more than she will ever know! It has been amazing watching her grow. She has such a sweet spirit and a loving heart. She is truly an awesome gift from God! Happy 3rd Birthday, Sweetheart!!!
