Saturday, November 11, 2006 This month has been another great one!! We are finally into a routine and feel like we truly know our little sweetie so much better. She is such an amazing little girl!! She is SO happy, still full of smiles, very friendly and outgoing--just a sweet, sweet baby! We had lots of fun this month with Halloween! We visited a pumpkin patch that had a great petting zoo and pony rides. She had her first experience with feeding goats and riding on a pony, and she enjoyed both! Later in the month, she went to our neighborhood Halloween party, our church fall festival, and her Grandma’s (who is a teacher) school carnival. Of course, she went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood on Halloween night and got lots of candy and attention in her adorable butterfly costume! She continues to develop and grow so fast! She is walking very well now (almost running) and can communicate so much better. She now says: puppy, bye-bye, hi, pretty, thank you, and best of all, she says “I yuh yuh” (her version of I love you). It melts our hearts!!! She can point and jabber to let us know just about whatever she wants, and of course, most of the time she gets it! Her two bottom center teeth are all the way in now and are very cute!!! She is about to get some more on the top, but none have broken through just yet. She is still a wonderful eater, and I’m sure she is over 20 pounds by now. She has been so healthy the entire time she’s been with us—we are so very blessed! Words cannot explain how much we love our amazing daughter! (Just writing that statement brings tears to my eyes) This has been so much more wonderful than we ever dreamed, and we thank God everyday for bringing her into our family. We only wish everyone could experience this magnificent miracle of adoption!!!
