MARCH/APRIL 2009 March and April were filled with fun! We started March with an exciting trip to the circus. The kids loved the circus and Bria was so brave this year she even wanted to ride the elephants! She LOVED it!! She giggled the entire ride…it was wonderful! Over spring break we went to Texas to visit Bria’s friends Maddy and Kiana. The kids had a wonderful time playing together! We went to a local inflatable play-place and they had the time of their lives. Bria and Maddy asked the very first night if they could have a sleepover in Maddy’s room and we decided to give it a try. They did great! I think they wore themselves out from playing so hard that it helped them go right to sleep… While we were in Texas we made a road trip to Sea World in San Antonio. We went to lots of shows including a Sesame Street show where we got to see Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster and lots of their friends. We also saw the Shamu show and a fun 3-D pirate show. We all had a wonderful and memorable time!! On April 4th (Daddy’s birthday) he left for Ghana, Africa to file the last piece of paperwork on our journey to bring Bria’s sweet sister home. We missed Daddy so much while he was gone, but we were so excited to watch the videos and look at the new pictures of precious Abree. This motivated the kids to go through all of their toys and make Abree her own special toy box. They are so ready for her to come home! For Easter this year we decided to have an indoor flashlight egg hunt in the dark…it was so much fun! Bria found lots of eggs and was so excited that she found one of the $5 prize eggs! At church the next morning, her class had another egg hunt…she was thrilled! We ate Easter lunch together with Uncle Bud, Aunt Julie, Jake, Hayley and Grace. It was a great weekend of celebration and remembering what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. We are so excited about May…we should be leaving in May to bring home baby sister, Abree!!!
