OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2008

October and November have been great and busy months! In early October we took a mini-vacation to Tulsa for a long weekend. We went to the Oklahoma Aquarium which was so much fun. Bria got to feed the turtles and the stingrays—she loved it!! We also went to the Tulsa Zoo and to Incredible Pizza. We spent the weekend with Bria’s friends Tyler, Alex, Aubree, Sam & Maggie and we had such a wonderful time!

For Halloween Miss Bria was a beautiful Pink Princess Kitty. She loved trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and playing games at our church’s fall festival. After Halloween, she had a great time at Kaden’s school Fall Festival as well. She LOVES candy (or “tandy” as she calls it) and her favorite candy is Smarties (or “Marties” as she calls them).

On November 3rd sweet Bria and Kaden came with Daddy to the airport to pick up Mommy. I had just returned from Africa where I was able to meet our sweet daughter, Abree. I brought home lots of pictures and video of her and the kids have watched the video over and over and over. They are so excited about their new sister! We cannot wait until we are able to share more about her—she will be an amazing blessing to our family! Of course, Bria does not understand the process and keeps saying, “Why is it taking for a long, long time to get my baby sister?” So cute!!

In November we went to the zoo with cousins Grace, Hayley and Jacob (who now live just a few miles from us :)). Bria never gets tired of visiting the zoo—her favorite animals are still the elephants.

Bria was so excited to get to go back to Sweet-n-Sassy this month for her friend Hannah’s birthday party. The girls were all made over and played games and danced together. They crowned each girl and gave each one a certificate making them official “Princesses.” It was so much fun!!

The weekend before Thanksgiving we took a trip to Nanny and Papa’s house. We always have such a great relaxing time there. Bria enjoys all the love she gets from her Nanny and Papa!

For the first time, we stayed home for Thanksgiving and had Uncle Bud, Aunt Julie, Jake, Hayley and Grace over for dinner. It is so nice to have them living close by—we had a great Thanksgiving together! Bria said she is most thankful for “my family.” We are also SO very thankful for her and all of our precious family.

We are looking forward to December and the opportunity to make more family memories while we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
