May/June 2008 We have had a great two months! In late April we made our first trip to the zoo this year. The kids had so much fun as they always do. Bria’s favorite animals at the zoo are the elephants. She waves at them and says “Hi, friends.” She could watch them all day! For Mother’s Day, Bria and I went to a Mother-Daughter Banquet at our church—our first time to go together. It was very special. We had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed watching a fashion show. Bria wanted to be part of the show very badly—she kept trying to get off of my lap to walk where the “models” were. She is such a character—LOVES attention and gets lots of it! On June 5th, we went to Ringling Brother’s Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was a first for all of us. We go to the Shrine Circus every year, but we have not been to the Ringling Brother’s Circus before. What a treat!! We had a wonderful time—it was quite a production. There were lots of elephants in the show, so Bria was a happy girl! She ate popcorn and a snow cone and had a really great time! For Father’s Day we took Daddy to eat, gave him presents and tried to pamper him for a day. Bria got to pick her own card out for Daddy this year—she loves getting to make decisions on her own—she is such a big girl! For Mommy’s birthday, we went to Frontier City and rode lots and lots of rides. Bria will ride anything they will allow her to ride. She rode the big log ride several times, the swings, a small roller coaster, the bumper boats, the canoes, the Ferris wheel, the antique cars, and of course the carousel. She LOVES rides!! We had lots of fun celebrating Mom’s birthday together! On June 14th, we went to our friends wedding and reception. Bria had a great time getting all dressed up for the wedding and dancing the night away at the reception. Several of her little girl friends from church were there and they all had a great time together! On June 26th we had a special visit from my dad, Bria’s PeePop. The kids were so excited to see him and had lots of fun playing with him for a few days! We are all geared up and ready to celebrate Bria’s 3rd birthday. We have been counting down the days. We decided to have it early this year since we will be traveling on her actual birthday. She is sooo excited about turning three!
