Abree has been home for ONE YEAR!! As of June 1st our precious
angel has been with our family for an entire year…time has flown
by so quickly!! We celebrated her one year at home anniversary
on the boat at Lake Arcadia with Uncle Bud, Aunt Julie, Jake,
Hayley and Grace. Abree LOVES the water!! She loves to swim and
ride on the tube. She’s a brave little girl!
On June 5th and 12th we went back to Lake Arcadia for more,
swimming, tubing and a cookout. On June 17th Abree was able to
spend the day at Lake Tenkiller with Aunt Cristi, Uncle Shawn,
Tyler, Alex and sweet Aubree. She had a great day with them
swimming, riding the tube and playing with her special friends!
The next day, we spent the day at her Great Aunt Glenda’s house
and she was able to see a one-day-old colt and play with lots of
puppies and chickens. She loves Aunt Glenda!
On June 19th we took the boat to Lake Carl Blackwell for another
day of fun. As soon as she saw the water she said “Boat, Mommy,
I sighted (excited)!” She LOVES going to the lake and we are
doing lots of it!
We celebrated Father’s Day on June 19th. Abree was able to spend
her afternoon sitting on Daddy’s lap watching Toy Story 3 at the
theater, which we all loved!!
We headed back to Tahlequah on June 23rd and 24th to celebrate
Mommy’s birthday and to have more fun at Aunt Glenda’s house. We
spend the 23rd with Aunt Glenda and the 24th at Gaga’s house.
Abree helped Gaga feed the chickens and goats and she even
helped gather eggs. She is quite the little “farmer.”
Tonight at church we had an exotic animal demonstration. Abree
was able to see and pet a baby kangaroo, a fox, a lemur, a baby
alligator and she even got to take a ride on a turtle. She had a
wonderful time!!
We are still enjoying every moment with our precious angel. We
cannot thank our Heavenly Father enough for blessing us with
this sweet girl!! We are looking forward to celebrating the 4th
of July with her and lots more fun trips to the lake. She is
quite the little water bug! Pure JOY!! |
