Claire has been home for a little over ten months now and she is thriving! We just got back from a week-long trip to Disney World which Claire truly agrees is “The Happiest Place on Earth.” She walked around the first day saying, “I’m happy. I’m just so happy.” She got to see all the princesses and a ton of other Disney characters. Our older three children were on fall break and James was on vacation. Claire thought having everyone together all the time was wonderful. She called our family-suite our “hotel home” and the only time she cried the whole time we were there was the day we left. She had plans of living at the Disney World resort and going to a park every day. I guess for a little girl getting ready to celebrate her 3rd birthday, it does sound like heaven.
October is a really big month for Claire. Not only did she have her wonderful trip to Disney, but she will celebrate her birthday on the 21st. We are having a princess party of course! Next month’s update will have pictures of the big event. On October 31st, Claire will get to go trick-or-treating for the first time ever. She will be a beautiful Snow White.

Every day with our Claire is so precious. We still remember waiting for her and wishing she was here for so many events before. This vacation was even more special because we didn’t have to say “Our last trip to Disney without Claire.” Over the last 10 months there have been so many firsts with Claire. These are things we have done before and places we have been before. But now, we go and we see these things through the eyes of a little girl who looks up at you and says, “I’m just so happy.”
