Sunday, March 11, 2007 March 11 marks three months since Claire became a part of our family. We have enjoyed this dear child so much. We can not imagine a day without her. She is absolutely thriving with her three siblings and Mama and Baba. She always has someone willing to play with her or entertain her. We have made it a “tradition” to go to Max and Erma’s on each Gotcha/Adoption Day. (We got Claire and adopted her on the same day.) They have a sundae bar that she really enjoys, (as you can probably tell from the pictures). It’s hard to believe that Claire has grown as much as she has. We need it to get warm here soon before she outgrows all her winter clothes. She loves clothes so much that going to Gymboree could be considered playtime for her. She wants to try on clothes and show them to all the employees. She has also been known to put on quite a fashion show at Strasburg too! She really loves to wear dresses and tights and always points out the tights to everyone she sees when she wears a dress. Of course, she still loves the squeaky shoes. They are going to be too small soon, but I don’t know who is going to break that news to Claire. As you can probably tell, she loves the big headband bows. I would like to put a smaller clippie style bow in, but Claire says “No, it’ll hurt.” I just think she likes the statement the big bow makes. She is quite the fashion diva. We are hoping to do a better job at keeping this website updated now that my computer is in working order again. Check back for monthly updates.
