Friday, August 1, 2008 It has been a long time since I updated, but it has been a busy time too. Claire has been having a wonderful spring and summer. Right after school let out, Claire, Laura and I took off on a trip to the Jersey Shore to visit with some adoption friends. We were invited by our friend Laura and her daughter Lucy. Our travel mates Pam, Emily, and AnnaClaire also got to join us. We had such a fantastic time and Laura and Lucy were such wonderful hostesses. Claire and Laura loved the ocean although it wasn’t exactly warm yet. The water temperature didn’t deter them a bit! Claire has been having a great time this summer with her brothers, sister, and lots of cousins. Caitlin, Ryan, Drew, Rachel, Alex, and Katherine have all been here and they have all had a lot of fun on the trampoline and the slip and slide. She loves waking up and having lots of cousins here to play with. We also spent a great day on the boat with Ye’Ye, Nai Nai, Uncle Joe and Aunt Laura on the lake. Claire loved the water and riding behind the boat. At the beginning of July, we went to Ye’Ye and Nai Nai’s farm and had family pictures made. We use a wonderful photographer named Robin Allen. I have posted a few of the pictures here, but you can see the rest on our blog.
