Thursday, December 14, 2006 Today was our last full day in Guizhou. As you can see in the pictures, Claire loved getting dressed up in one of her Christmas dresses and posing for Mommy’s camera down in the lobby. There are actually Christmas decorations everywhere here in China, and she doesn’t quite know what to think about the life-sized Santas that she sees everywhere we go (don’t worry Claire…you’re not the only one!). After breakfast, we went back to our room to start the packing process. As you look at the newest pictures you’ll notice Claire has another “favorite” food…mini-tangerines! We have to make sure we stock up on bananas and tangerines when we get home next Wednesday. Once Claire got her fill, we went to another beautiful historic park with our guide, Fontana. After getting some great pictures at the park, we toured the city, went into a 5-story department store, and finished our day off with dinner at Pizza Hut (can’t you tell what adventurous eaters we are?) We fly out of Guizhou tomorrow and meet up with the other families in Guangzhou where we finalize the process. Even though we are on the other side of the world, all your love, support, messages, and prayers make us feel very close to everyone back home.
