Wow, I can’t believe that we are only at the 2 month mark. Lucy is so enmeshed in our lives; it is as though she has been with us since birth. She is very clingy with me which is both reassuring and tiring at times. She and her brothers act like siblings, sometimes they play great and lovingly and sometimes they fight and yell. I am at the point now where it seems weird to be updating because I feel like we are such a typical, normal family. What is there that is new and interesting to say?

Lucy is healthy and dealing like a champ with her 5 new teeth coming in at once. She loves to be outside and especially likes to swing at the park. The ball is still one of her favorite things to play with and I think it will be her first word. She smiles and laughs so easily now. When she is tired she gets slap happy and finds everything amusing. It’s so cute. Mommy has become obsessed with bows and shoes and Lucy is acquiescing quite nicely. If I don’t have a bow in her hair she will feel around the top of her head and gives me a questioning glance. When it is time for her shoes, she just pops her foot right up in the air for me to slide one of her 10 pairs on. I had to buy an over the door shoe organizer for her collection. She loves food and out eats her brothers at most meals. She lets you know if she likes it by yelling loudly as soon as she swallows, meaning she wants more pronto!! Yet, Lucy has gained about ½ a pound since being home. She is always on the move, always exploring. She has started using her walker and is cruising along furniture now. She loves music and dancing and does a great rendition of the twist!! Lucy has also learned a few fun tricks. She can unravel a roll of toilet paper in less than thirty seconds and she can empty the wipes dispenser one by one in under sixty.

Well that is all for now, as the “Princess” requires my attention. God Bless!
