The Nursery

It feels so good to have the nursery back together again! Before Jeff and I were married and living in another state, I saw this bedroom set in a shop window. I decided my children were going to have it some day. Six years later, when I first got pregnant, I went all the way back to that store looking for the set. Sadly, they no longer carried it. When we got home from that trip, a neighbor suggested I check out a new baby boutique about 2 miles down the road. The first thing I saw when I walked in was that Beatrix Potter furniture and the floor model was on SALE. Destiny! I also want to mention the blanket hanging on the glider. It was made for my grandmother 79 years ago. What a special treasure to pass on to our daughter!
