It’s amazing, Grace has been sleeping 10-12 hours a night. We’re
not counting on that lasting, but it has been nice getting some
extra rest. We all woke with just enough time to get down to
have breakfast before heading off to pick up Grace’s passport.
It’s a Chinese passport and will allow her to travel within
China and then to the US, but then will be just a nice souvenir,
and we’ll have to get her a US one.
From there, we went shopping for porcelain, which Nanchang is
known for. We were able to find a beautiful little teacup set
for her as well as some porcelain chopsticks that Tim liked.
After that trip ended, the afternoon was ours. Grace took a nap
while Tim took Tucker and Jonah into the city for one last
afternoon of shopping. Tim found a nice jade charm for Tammy’s
bracelet and a bunch of snacks from Walmart.
We had dinner as a group at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel
and then we all said goodnight, as all our little girls were
starting to rub their eyes.
We head out for the airport tomorrow at 11:00 am and get into
Guangzhou in the afternoon and begin the last leg of the
journey. One one hand we are anxious to finish and get our girl
home, but on the other we find ourselves without enough time to
take everything in.
We all still remain in great health and again say thanks for
your prayers and encouraging words that we see on Grace’s site
and in email. It gives us that link to home that we need so
badly right now.
God Bless,
Tim, Tammy, Phil, Tucker, Jonah and the little Princess! |
