We finally got our Travel Approval to go bring our sweet Zoe home after a long 121 days of waiting!! Tom and I will travel to China on Oct 2nd. Please pray for us as we make this life changing journey! Zach and Bailey will be staying in Bellevue—so please pray for them that the time will pass quickly! "In the multitude of my anxieties within me, your comforts delight my soul." Psalms 94:19 Monday, 10/2 We depart Omaha at 8:09 AM on United. We fly to Chicago then catch a connecting flight straight to Beijing. Pray for our safety and that our luggage doesn’t get lost! Tuesday, 10/3 Arrive in Beijing 2:25 PM and meet our guide. We will be staying at the Marriott West. Wed., 10/4 We will be visiting the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City. Thursday, 10/5 We have a free day to do a little shopping in Beijing and enjoy the Moon festival. Since Tom and I are on our own this day please pray that we do not get lost. Rest assure Tom will have his trusty GPS. Friday, 10/6 We catch a flight to Hangzhou and get settled into our hotel. Please keep Zach and Bay in your prayers as they are so far away from us. Saturday, 10/7 Free day to get familiar with Hangzhou. Trip to wal-mart to get the last minute things we will need for Zoe. One day until Zoe is placed in our arms and becomes a Nowlin girl. Pray that we can sleep this night. Sunday, 10/8 ZOE DAY!!! We get Zoe first thing in the morning and paperwork in the afternoon. Please pray that Zoe will respond to Tom and I quickly! This will be a very hard day for her I am sure, as she is leaving the only mom she has ever known and being placed in these big white people arms. But I am reminded that we serve a mighty God and He promises to comfort us and never leave us! Monday, 10/9 Visit Zoe’s orphanage. Tuesday, 10/10 Tour silk factory and a tea factory Wed., 10/11 Get Zoe’s passport and fly to Guangzhou. Check into the famous White Swan Hotel!! Thursday, 10/12 Medical exam and paperwork! Friday, 10/13 Take a bus to the Consulate to take an oath and get Zoe’s Visa. Saturday, 10/14 Fly Home and see my Babies!!!!!
