These past few months have flown by and we have wanted to update
for a long time now. In August we took a little vacation to
Lancaster. Caroline had a great time going to her first
amusement park and antiquing with mommy. August 31st was the one
year anniversary of our referral. It is hard to believe that a
year has gone by. Little did we know that hot afternoon that we
would see the picture of our baby Caroline Mei. We had a nice
dinner and cake to celebrate a very important day for our
family.
In September all the kids went back to school. It has been quite
hectic around the house since then as everyone is keeping long
hours with lots of work. Caroline is doing so well. She learns
something new every day. Her favorite show is Barney. She
follows along with all of the dances and mimics the kids on the
show. It is amazing what a quick learner she is. Caroline spends
the day home with mommy and her puppies. She got a new jungle
gym which is one of her favorite things to play with. Caroline
loves to be active. She dances and hops and slides down her
jungle gym. She is always happy when the kids come home from
school and can usually persuade them to put off their homework
to play with her. On the weekends Caroline usually goes shopping
with the girls and goes on family outings.
We went pumpkin picking at the flower garden last week with some
friends. Caroline really enjoyed herself and found a pumpkin
just her size! When we came home we decorated the house for
Halloween. Caroline is going to be Tinkerbell. We just can’t
wait for Caroline’s first Halloween. We look forward to the
upcoming holiday season and we’ll try to update more quickly.
Hopefully there will be pictures of Caroline in her Tinkerbell
costume if we can persuade her to keep it on! |
