Hi everyone! We are so happy to update our website as we have had a very busy summer. This is a special update for us because I would like to tell you about a clothing sale that I will be having. We have been home for approximately a year and a half with our daughter and we would like to return to China to adopt again. Our family is already large and we plan on bringing everyone because it is important for us to have everyone together. We are beginning to prepare to go back and having a clothing sale was one of the ideas that we came up with. I love children’s clothes and have always bought nice things for my four children. However, there are many items that have rarely if ever been worn that are in excellent condition. I would love to share these items with you. So, I have decided to have a clothing sale. Although the sale is to help us return to China to adopt again, 25% of the proceeds will go to Half the Sky Foundation.

Just to give you an idea about what we have, there are girls’ and boys’ clothes. The girls’ clothes range in size from 24 months to 14 years. The boys’ clothes range from toddler to young child. There are also several women’s items. The brands include J.Crew, Polo, Hanna Andersson, Gymboree, Hartstrings, Lands End, Laura Ashley, Mini Boden, Pippers America, etc.

If you would like to take a look, I have created a blog here. If you would like to purchase one of the items, please leave your name and email address as a comment under the item. I will then contact you for the shipping information. I will ship everything out to you at no cost. Due to the fact that this is a fundraiser, I ask that you pay by check. Thank you in advance!

Also, we have some updated pictures to share with you. The spring and summer went very quickly for us this year. Everyone was quite busy. We celebrated Caroline’s 3rd birthday on June 29th. During the spring, Caroline took a music class. In the class children often brought goodies in to celebrate their birthdays. Having seen this throughout the spring, Caroline was so excited when she got to bring her own happy birthday hats to share with everyone! We had a little party at home. Among some of her new favorite things are a Kai-Lan playhouse and a big-girl jewelry box to keep all of her treasures in. Caroline has grown so much even in the past few months. She is getting taller each day. Caroline has so many new things to say now and she talks all the time. We love to hear her little voice and all that she has to say. One of Caroline’s most favorite things is music. She absolutely loves to sing, dance, and play instruments. Almost nightly, she empties the drawer of pots and pans to play drums. She also loves to count! She is still very energetic and active and she is constantly making us laugh. She loves to play with her brother and sisters. She has learned all kinds of things from them like how to use an ipad and an iphone, how to play house, how to play basketball, how to play “e” (her version of scrabble:)) She also has a new found interest in reading. She’ll often take one of her many books of the shelf and bring it in to Dad and ask him to read to her. Our Caroline Mei is growing into a little girl. She is learning new things everyday and it is such a joy for all of us to be our darling Caroline Mei’s family!
