We’re sorry for the delay in our update. The trek home was very long. We arrived at our hotel in Hong Kong pretty late and were up really early the next morning for our flight home. The flight home was two hours less- thank goodness because it felt longer coming home. Our return flight was not as smooth as our flight to China. As we came home right before some snow there was a lot of turbulence. Needless to say, some people were a little sick and the ride seemed like an eternity. Finally we landed and were greeted by Gammi, Poppi, Auntie Kel, Mollie, Codey, Kacey Riley, Heidi, and Aunt Lauraine and Uncle John. It was freezing cold outside so we bundled Caroline Mei up in her new car seat. Then we picked up our puppies one of whom had surgery on her leg. She is recovering well and both are happy to be home. Mommy had a surprise when she walked in as her unfinished kitchen was finally done while we were away. It looks beautiful and just in time for Christmas breakfast! Mostly we’ve been home as it is cold and we are tired. Jet lag set in and most of us just sleep when we can. Caroline’s nights and days were somewhat confused but she is getting better.

Caroline is adjusting well to her new home. She loves her new toys and having so much space to crawl about. She is very happy with her new puppies- she even pets Spunky! Caroline has been getting into the Christmas spirit. We baked cookies and watched Frosty the Snowman. Continue to check our website as we will post more updates from home. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love,
The Stephens Family

I'll be walking in no time!

I love my bottle but this cup is pretty cool too.
