Today we visited an embroidery factory. Hunan province is known for their fine embroidery work and I’ve never seen anything like it! Ellen was happy in the stroller the entire time. Connor enjoyed pushing her in the stroller at very high speeds, although this made mommy a bit nervous! Tara just can’t get enough of her little sister as well. She is constantly making her laugh and loves to carry her around the hotel room. Spencer took a bath with Ellen tonight and she really liked having company in the tub!

She is crawling so much better now and can pull herself up on things more and more (even though she’s wobbly). She has eight teeth already and likes holding toys in her mouth. She thinks she is so funny when she does this! She still sleeps through the night like an angel and is usually taking 2 naps every day. She is still isn’t fond of wearing a diaper-she tugs at it whenever we change her. Today we took her to the play center at the hotel and she loved playing with different toys. We out her in a walker and she followed Connor everywhere he went! She loves drinking her “Chinese” bottle. They make it a little different here: formula + rice cereal + hot water = one thick bottle & a very happy baby.

I just can’t believe how much we love her in such a short time. I didn’t know we could feel this way so soon. Ellen has just brought so much happiness to our family already-she really is a special little girl!
