Jia-Li's 100 Good Wishes Quilt A tradition in
Northern China, the 100 Good Wishes quilt is called a
Bai Jia Bei and it is a custom to invite friends and family to
contribute a patch of cloth with a wish for your child. Part
of the patch of
cloth goes into the quilt for the child and the other part
goes into her
memory book. The quilt contains the luck, energy and good
wishes from
all the family and friends who contribute. The quilt is then
passed
down from generation to generation.
We would like to invite our family and friends to contribute
an 8X8
cotton square of fabric and a good wish for Jia's quilt. Thank
You and
God Bless you all!
