“I’m lonesome and miss you both until it hurts…I love you so very much and miss you every minute. Be very careful of you.” -Ronald Reagan

Thank you all so much for praying for Reagan! Praise God! Today was a much better day for Reagan! Her fever was down, and she was a much different baby! She was happy and laughing. She also didn’t sleep much, very short naps! She was making up for all of her lost time! Today we spent a little bit of time at the pool. Reagan loved it! She was splashing and having lots of fun! When we went back to the room, we thought that she would take a nap - wrong answer! She played and played and played! We were so happy to see her smile! After breakfast, the reporter and photographer from the “Marie Claire” magazine talked more to some in our group and other groups and took some group pictures of us all. They are doing an article on adoption and said that our photo would be on the feature page. We will keep you all posted on the article and when it comes out.

Later in the afternoon, we met with the rest of the travel group to have the “Red Couch” picture. By this time, Reagan was running on empty fuel tanks! She did okay during the pictures, but she was very tired! By the end of the photo taking, she was asleep. Afterwards, our Holt travel group went to have a barbeque by the river and pool sides. The food was great, and we all stuffed ourselves! We and our close friends, Beverly and Wayne and their new addition, Erika, all went shopping again.

I cannot tell you how happy we are that Reagan had such a great day! It was Jesus Christ working through your prayers that created the miracle. She is still raspy and coughing, but she is getting better. We also have started adding some Enfamil formula to her Chinese brand to add some extra nutrients. We are doing it slowly so that we do not disrupt her system too much. We also haven’t been able to get her to eat any solid foods yet. She gags, even with congee. She doesn’t know what to do with it. Please pray that she will start to eat better and that she will be willing to try solid foods in small amounts. Thank you again for all of your prayers! We love and miss you all!

Ashton and Kieron,

We went to the pool again today.  Guess what we saw there?  Daddy found a really tiny ladybug!  We knew that you both would love it, so he took a picture of it.  We got you something else today!  A lady had given Reagan a “Red Thread” jade bracelet, so we got you both one too!  It is to represent how God allowed a red thread to tie all three of your hearts together a world away!  We miss you both so much, but we will be home in just a few days!  You better start putting your things away!  Your baby sister is going get into them!  We love you more!!!

"MY MOMMY REALLY DOES LOVE ME A LOT!!!"

“One day these parents would understand that God had opened their hearts to make room for those special children in their life. Whether those children were of a different color, a different race, or of a different culture, God brought all those wonderful people together in a very special way. Someday they would all understand this special event, and how God had planned it.” - Adoptions are Made in Heaven - by Kathie Belonger
