Today we had to have Reagan’s Visa photo taken. We went down to
a local photo shop and got it taken. Later in the afternoon we
had to go to the clinic on the island to have her visa
examination. The nurses kept commenting on how hot she was. She
is not doing too well. She is worse today than she was
yesterday. This morning her fever was VERY HIGH! She will not
eat any formula at all and refuses to take any medicine. She
only had 1 ½ bottles of formula yesterday, and today she has not
had any. We were able to get her to drink a little water today,
off and on. She will take a few capfuls and then she is done. We
decided to add her antibiotic to the water in the cap, and she
took it! PRAISE THE LORD! We then have alternated adding Tylenol
and Motrin. It gets it down a bit, but then it jumps right back
up! She is very lethargic and is doing nothing but sleep and
lying around. Now this is my active little girl from Forever
Day! It is sad to see her. You can tell that she feels really
bad! She wants us to hold her all of the time. She loves to
snuggle on our necks and does not like the stroller! What
worries me most is that she is not drinking much or eating
anything. She is already a little thing. She only has had one
wet diaper today, this morning, and it was only a little damp.
Her skin is so dry. She is really worrying us. We have tried
Pedialyte, but she won’t drink it. Please pray that her fever
breaks, that we can keep antibiotic in her, that she will drink,
that she will start eating again, and that her lungs will clear.
Tim Fuller, we sure do wish you were here! You would know what
to do, and we trust you! Please pass this on to anyone you know
to have them pray her through this. We have a Mighty God, Who is
the Ultimate Healer, and we trust in Him to do His will in and
through Reagan, whatever that may be! We know that He is in
control, but it is so hard being so far away from home. I have
broken down several times today; we just feel so helpless.
Please pray that we will be able to have enough faith to trust
completely in Him to take care of her and to just let go.
We did walk into a few shops on the way back from the medical
exam. We bought a cute quilt for her that has a panda bear on
it. We wanted to do more shopping, but Reagan’s fever was
shooting back up. It is so hot and humid here; you just cannot
imagine! We didn’t want Reagan to sweat out what little water
she has in her, so we could not do much. Most of the shops don’t
even have fans. The funny thing is that they don’t even sweat,
and we are drenched! They are just so used to it. We will shop
later though. I really want to get Reagan some traditional
Chinese outfits, as well as one for Ashton and Kieron. I also
want to get several of the infamous squeaky shoes! There are
also several shops that do marble etchings of photographs. They
are really good! It is amazing to see them! There are so many
talented people here, very artistic! Well, I am going to sign
off for now and try to get Reagan to drink more. We love you all
and miss you!
Ashton and Kieron,
How are the Jie Jie’s doing? Mom and Dad are holding up, but
your Mei Mei is very sick. Make sure to pray for her today. Have
you been swimming yet? There is a beautiful pool here. One is a
plain pool in the shape of the letter “L.” The other one is
amazing! It has a waterfall and is surrounded by beautiful trees
and plants! You both would love it! We haven’t been because
Reagan is sick. We hope to go later though. We love you and miss
you! Be good and write in the guestbook when you have time! Talk
to you tomorrow!

“Everything in your
life was different now. Where was your cot? Where were the
other babies? Where were your caretakers? And who was this new
person, carrying you around and pointing at things? You
wriggled and squirmed and kicked your skinny little feet, and
then you began to cry… Finally, I remembered the red blanket…
You snuggled under the soft blanket. I used a little corner of
it to wipe away your tears - you had stopped crying. Then you
reached up, and I felt your tiny hand touch mine. Mother and
daughter, we held on tight.”

(Shelley, doesn't it look cute with her?
You did a great job with it!)
Reagan holding the Sprite bottle. She loves this bottle! It
really is funny to see her with it!

one of the few times she wasn't sleeping today.
This is the Going Home Barbie that was given to us in the White
Swan Hotel on Adoption Day. It was waiting in our rooms when we
got back from the Civil Affairs Office.
The view from our hotel window at night. It is beautiful; this
does not do it justice at all. It is hard to take a picture
through the window.
