June 21-22, 2006
We are here in Beijing. It was a tiring trip, over 24 hours of
nonstop traveling! We got into our hotel room last night at
11:00 PM where we watched the US soccer team get eliminated from
the World Cup. The air here is thick with pollution, and all we
have been able to see so far has been at night on the way to the
hotel. We did take a couple of pictures of the view of the
buildings outside out hotel window. We are now off to tour the
Great Wall. I hope we do not fall asleep on it. =)
Ashton and Kieron,
We miss you so badly. Dad and I keep finding ourselves
saying, “Oh, Ashton would like that! Kieron would love
that!” Ashton and Kieron, you would have loved the tunnel
in the Detroit Airport. It had colored lights and music
and they would change with each song - lots of flashing
lights! Ashton, you would have loved eating all of the
different foods on the airplanes! I know how you love to
try new things! Kieron, you would have loved the moving
sidewalks in the airports! You would have had a blast!
Please know that we are thinking of you constantly and
love you so much and miss you terribly! We cannot wait to
see you! You are getting Reagan in a few days!
