We’ve been back from China for a month and the trip already seems so long ago. We have had Chloe for 6 weeks and it is already hard to remember our lives without her.

On February 22, our little Princess turned fourteen months old. She is a social butterfly and loves to go out. She loves a captive audience. She has a beautiful and lively spirit and enjoys each day to the fullest. She loves music and moves her whole body to the melody.

Chloe is sleeping well in her crib. It is so precious to see her sleeping and to lift her out of her crib in the morning with her soft, sleepy face. We play a Chinese lullaby when she first lies down and she sleeps through the night. She hasn't been as consistent with her naps, as she just has too much to do during the day.

Chloe loves to eat, but her preferences change from day to day. She has tried many different foods, such as apple sauce, yogurt, whole wheat crackers, multi grain Cheerios, mashed potatoes, French fries, cheese, milk, tofu, scrambled eggs, rice, pears, strawberries, ice cream, and oatmeal. Her favorites are Cheerios, eggs, and apple sauce.

Chloe has been to Starbucks (of course), made it through church, gone to many restaurants, been on many shopping trips, and did a photo shoot at Sears. Bone Fish Grill is her favorite restaurant, as she has been with Grandpa Bob twice already. While we enjoy the food, she enjoys the very loud paper table cloths.

We have stayed busy, with lots of friends and family visiting Chloe. Neil returned to work and Michelle is with Chloe full time, with help from Grandma a couple days a week. Grandma is also taking care of our cat Versace, but we hope to bring him home soon.

Chloe is cuter and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We are so lucky. She smiles and giggles and bounces up and down when she gets excited. It feels like such a huge victory to see her take a bite of new food, enjoy her bath, or get her little arms and legs into her pajamas. All these moments are just priceless. It feels so good to know that we are gradually gaining her trust and we are all enjoying our new lives together as a family.
