This building was built with a hole in the middle so the legendary dragon that lives in the mountain behind it could get in and out.  The Chinese believe if they had not put in the hole, the dragon would have just knocked the building down when he wanted to get off the mountain...


Janie learning how to say "I love you" phonetically in Cantonese from our tour guide, Suzanne.  We had learned some Mandarin, but that wasn't very helpful since JacJac is from the Guangdong province where they mainly speak Cantonese.
