Our last day in China! Today we completed the final step of
making our sweet Bria ours forever at the American Consulate. We
were asked to raise our right hand and promise that we have been
honest and truthful throughout the entire process. When we land
in Chicago tomorrow, she will be an American Citizen!!!
Today has been such a mixture of emotions. We are so very
excited to get Bria home, but again we are sad to leave her
birth country. We have had a wonderful two weeks, and we truly
love China, the Chinese people, and their culture. We have
learned and seen so much during our time here, and we know that
China will forever be in our hearts!
We leave early in the morning tomorrow, so the next update will
be from the USA! We can’t wait to see you all and introduce you
to our amazing daughter!! Thank you so much for your thoughts
and prayers throughout this wonderful journey! |
