Not much to report today. Our 1 hour flight from Nanchang to
Guangzhou seemed to take the entire day.
We are now at the beautiful White Swan hotel. Will have many
more pictures tomorrow once we have a chance to look and explore
some! So far we are totally loving this hotel. Very clean with
many nearby amenities (read: places to shop).
So . . . Miyah’s first plane ride was fun! You know that baby
that screams the whole trip in the back of the plane? That was
our Miyah. You know that frazzled looking mother who gives in
and attempts anything and everything, no matter how futile, to
quiet said baby? That is me. Am rethinking the whole trip home
by plane – may be much more comfortable to travel by boat.
Other than our plane ride from hell, she actually had a great
day. She really seems to understand that she is now a part of
our family and she smiles and laughs constantly (except, of
course, when 30,000 feet in the air). She is getting stronger,
smarter and cuter by the minute. We cannot wait to share her
with everyone!
Thanks again for everyone’s e-mails and comments. They make us
feel so much closer to all of you.
