Hi everyone at home!
Hope all is well. We are great! It was another rainy day in
Guangzhou, so we just shopped around inside the hotel. They have
beautiful art, sculptures and really nice stores here.
Jae Lyn is doing great! I started switching her formula over
from Lactogen #1 to Similac and so far, I think it's going well!
Jae is on the bed with pillows around her enjoying her toys and
a bottle of apple juice, which she loves!! She has mastered the
art of rolling over, big time! Every pillow we have is around
her!
I started packing this afternoon because we may have to purchase
another large suitcase to bring home.
I did manage to have a photo shoot today with Jae in her bathing
suit from Kathy and Reggie in Virginia. I hope you enjoy the
pictures.
We ate at Lucy's (again) last night and we had steaks, baked
potatoes and a veggie - it was so very good, I may need to go
back tonight!
Last night we picked up the two rolls of film that Jae's foster
Mom had for us. The pictures we think were taken a few weeks or
a month ago. She is a wonderful woman and I certainly appreciate
all the care and love she gave to our baby...enjoy!
Well, that's all for now. Tomorrow is Tuesday and we have to
stick around the hotel until our guide Peter calls us. He is
taking the baby's information to the U.S. Consulate - so if
there are any questions he needs to reach us. Wednesday Jae Lyn
is sworn in as a U.S. citizen at the U.S. Consulate at 4pm. We
will leave straight from there to go to the airport and head
home!! We are getting anxious so see our family and friends.
We love you all! Take care and talk to you soon!
Love,
