Nee Hao - Everyone!
Today was our next-to-last day in China!
We had an early breakfast because we had to be in our room by
10:30am to await a phone call from Peter, our guide. He had
taken all our information to the U.S. Consulate, so if there was
a problem and he needed to get in touch with us he could reach
us. All went well for us!!
We shopped some this afternoon, just to finish up some last
minute items and then we took Jae Lyn to the pool. We video
taped most of the pool time, but I did attach a few snap shots
of Jae Lyn for you. In case your wondering, Jae is wearing a
Dora The Explorer one piece with pedblum and a darling pink
cover up from Toy's R Us, compliments of Miss Tracey!!! (Thanks
Trace!!) Jae loved the water and splashed around for about 30
minutes or so.
After the pool and a nap we went shopping a little more!!
We are pretty much ready for our trip home, but we may purchase
a stroller to bring home with us. We have a long layover in Los
Angeles and that may make the trip a little easier. Since our
luggage does not check thru we will have to go to baggage claim
in LA and re-check in at US Air prior to boarding our flight to
Charlotte. I have a carrier, but with my back....not the best
idea. Steve could carrier her, but he'll be toting everything
else!
Here's our flight itinerary:
Wednesday - Leave China at 9pm (That's Wed. @ 9 am for ya'll)
Arrive Los Angeles around 6:50 pm (Wednesday)
Leave Los Angeles at 10:45 pm (Wednesday)...I know, confusing!!!
Arrive Charlotte 6:10 am (Thursday)
Leave Charlotte 7:45 am (Thursday)
Arrived Wilmington @ 8:49 am (Thursday) YEAH!!!!!
We will do the famous "Red Couch" photo tomorrow with Gale &
John and their daughter Emily. Tomorrow will be the last update
for a while.
