Today was fun! We went to Chen Family Temple. The Chen family
was one of the wealthiest families in Guangzhou and this temple
isn't a religious temple but more a place to meet and spend
family time. We went as a group with all the Great Wall Agency
families. We're now kind of like family bonded together by these
beautiful children: Chelsea, Miley, Silas, Ethan, Reese, Olivia,
Natalie and of course, Libby!
I was able to get some shopping in too! I bought a beautiful
wall scroll of bamboo for Libby's nursery that has her name in
Chinese and Chinese symbols for peace and quiet. A Chinese
calligraphist did the writings. We also went to the Pearl
Market, which had 8 floors of shopping. Jay, Brynn and I each
got ourselves a little something Jade as keepsakes for the trip.
After shopping, Libby napped and Brynn headed for some swimming
with Emily. Jay stayed with Libby and I was able to enjoy some
sunshine watching the girls swim and chatting with some other
families.
Libby is STILL sleeping as I type, so it's time to rouse her.
Dinnertime is here, and we are off to have another delicious
authentic Chinese meal with another family (Chelsea's family). I
am being told you can get a 90-minute foot massage for about 20
dollars down the street too. Sign me up!!
Libby updates: She tried oatmeal today and liked it a lot. She
continues to grow in personality and is a ball of love. She
looks at me and I melt. I am officially her Mom who is head over
heels! |

Mom you say it’s naptime? I say—LET’S PLAY!

Need I say more? Sisters are the best
