Tuesday, May 28, 2013 What a blessing... a whole night's sleep for our little man. Praise the Lord for peace for him. We actually had to wake him up to get him dressed and then he fell asleep and snored on the way to the Civil Affairs office. We went early and returned to the Civil Affairs office here in Wuhan to complete the process to officially complete our adoption of Grayson into our family. We put our red finger print on each of our signatures and Grayson put his red footprint as you will see in the photos. The director of the orphanage and Auntie were there and they watched Grayson while we completed paperwork. The registrar was very kind and the whole process went very quickly. We had many pictures of Grayson with the director and the Auntie. The Auntie cried when we were leaving. Our heart broke for the loss they must feel each time they do this and what a comfort to know that he was loved and cared for so much. Once we were finished, we came back and Grayson allowed his Mom and Dad to have a three hour nap. We were exhausted from yesterday's and this morning's excitement! We once again had to wake up Grayson. We took a nice long walk in the park located just across the street from our hotel and it is so beautiful..... and you guessed it... he went to sleep again! So you can all imagine that after his dinner of steamed egg.. and after his bath... and it was his bed time...you know he did not want to go to bed. LOL. But Mama won the battle and he is once again sleeping in his crib. What a beautiful, wonderful day... the day it is official!
