Trip to China

Thursday, January 18, 2007 Today we took an adventurous trip to the Pearl Market. Riding a taxi around Guangzhou is quite an experience and not for the faint of heart. I was videotaping part of the ride and caught a near collision (inches) with our taxi and a van on tape. Speaking of an adventurous trip, tomorrow some of our group is traveling to the orphanage in Maoming. They are taking a 10 hour round trip in one day over country roads. We unfortunately decided not to go, but we should get plenty of photos from the other couples. None of us will miss that ride as I can get carsick sitting at a computer. We feel that one trip was enough for Chloe.
