Friday, January 12, 2007 Neil was lucky enough to give Chloe her first bottle. She finished it in about 45 seconds. Then she cried when she realized there wasn’t any left. Her favorite possession is the silk-trimmed pink blanket given to her by Michelle’s great friend Linda. As we used to say about my brother Mark, it is her security blanket. Other than the first bottle, she definitely would rather be held by Michelle. She is sticking to her like Velcro. It is precious. A street vendor asked if Michelle was Chinese, so maybe Chloe thinks the same thing! She still is very nervous and scared, she hasn’t really smiled yet for more than a second, and she doesn’t cry much either. She is very quiet, observant, and appears very healthy. Some of the babies are a little sick and aren’t eating. Not the case with little Chloe. She isn’t that little, but she is still very much a baby. We love her so much and we are giving her as much love as we can. She isn’t sure who we are, but we can tell she appreciates the attention!
