This 'n' That
First, a very Happy Mother's Day to the many Mommy's out
there! I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful day. And to the
future Mommy's . . . the ones who are waiting for their
precious children in China . . . you have been on my mind
all day. I KNOW what it is to wait, to hope, to pray through
this difficult time. This was a hard day for many women -
please know how many of us understand and are thinking of
you.
Next, a big, heartfelt thank you for the many well-wishes
sent to Joe. He is feeling well, his face is healing, and he
is in surprisingly little pain right now. He had a CT scan
on Friday, as the Dr. wants to have a better look at the
breaks in his collarbone. There is a chance we may be able
to avoid surgery, and will know that tomorrow (Monday).
Thank you for your prayers!
I neglected to post a follow-up note sent to me regarding my
Sandra Boynton information from a few weeks ago. A
myadoptionwebsite reader informed me that Kohl's
Department Stores carried stuffed animals of some of the
characters this spring. There were also books of lyrics and
Cd's of all her songs, which are from the board books. They
were $5 each and the proceeds go to charity. Thanks for the
tip, Joy!
Lastly, a little tip for today that I've been meaning to share with
