Not much to do today other than pack our suitcases (and hope
everything fits) for our trip to Hong Kong on Friday. We’ll
leave late Friday afternoon on a train from Guangzhou to Hong
Kong. We spend the night in Hong Kong and then fly back to the
USA on Saturday.
Evie has been very active and likes to throw balls and give high
fives! Tonight she took a bath alone in the tub and loved it.
Lots of water flying everywhere and it was a lot of fun!
Amy and Maddie went to the Chinese restaurant in our hotel one
last time with the friends from our group who haven’t gone home
yet (sad day…half the group is in route to the USA!).
Bruce ordered Papa John’s Pizza again!
We have met a lot of wonderful families and hope to keep in
touch with them! With tears in our eyes, we said our farewells
and gave hugs. It will be amazing to watch our young girls and
boys grow up and have a common red thread!
“An invisible
red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless
of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or
tangle, but never break.” Ancient Chinese Proverb

Evie in the tub…rub a dub- dub!
Supper for Bruce
(the ice cream and water are for the girls!)
You may recognize some of these…
we’ve been purchasing them
at the local 7 Eleven Store.
Many bikes in China!
Here’s a few on the street corner
near a local market.
