We landed in Chicago on December 18th. We gathered our luggage, got our truck from the hotel and started driving home! We made it to Madison where we met Amy’s brother and his wife. From there, they took over the driving duties and we made it home with only a few diaper changes! Thanks guys! It was great being in our home late Saturday night and having both sets of grandparents stop over to see Evie for the first time in real life, not just on skype!
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us on this awesome journey! We hope everyone who has followed us on our journey to Evie has enjoyed this site. Also, a big thank you to everyone who has left a message on our guestbook, emailed us, or stopped over to see us.

We began this journey in May of 2008. It has been a long wait at times with lots of questions from family and friends. We didn’t always have all the answers, but we had faith that someday God would bless us with another precious little girl.

Many people have told us that Evie is lucky to have us as her family; however, we are the lucky ones to have such a wonderful little girl in our lives!

Evie continues to inspire us every day with her cute little smile and her outgoing personality. She loves her big sister Maddie!
