Wu Chun Xiang
was picked up at the entrance of Social Welfare Institute of
Wuchan City on August 25th, 2009 when she was 1 day old. She has
a congenital cleft lip. She has normal development.
Our referral came on May 21st, 2010 and we were so excited!

Developmental Report
at the age of 1-2 months:
She could hold up her head a little bit when lying prone, visually
follow moving objects, move and stare somewhere when hearing
sound and she refused food which was bitter or sour.
She smiled when she was happy or saw her acquaintances yet she
would cry if she was uncomfortable or hungry.
Developmental Report
at the age of 3-4 months:
She could hold up her head when cuddling her vertically. She
opened her hands and tended to grasp things. She had the
conscious mind to hold something and was able to do so for a
moment.
She laughed aloud when teased. She was interested in bright
colors. When she saw a toy and was happy with it, she often put
the toy into her mouth.
Developmental Report
at 5-6 months:
When she stood up with assistance she could hold her body with
most of her weight.
She could smile at acquaintances spontaneously and was able to
visually look for dropped toys.
Developmental Report
at 9 months:
She can sit up independently from lying in her crib. She can
crawl. She is now babbling.
She can find toys that are hidden in front of her. She can play
alone. She is not shy with strangers and she gets along well
with her peers. She is open-minded and active.
She sometimes fusses when her caregivers hold other children in
their arms.

at 12 months:
She can crawl and walk some steps with support. She can play
alone and with other children. She is a little shy with
strangers. She is verbalizing now. Compared to the peers at her
age, she makes no differences in developments. She is 28 inches
long and 17 pounds. She is in good health condition and she
seldom gets sick.
