Today we went to the Civil Affairs Office. We took a family
photo which will be used on the adoption decree and then we had
to go through two interviews with Chinese officials regarding
our intentions on the adoption.
After our appointment our group went shopping for baby supplies
and snacks at a huge “Wal-Mart-like” store called Carrefour. If
Wal-Mart drives you crazy stay out of this place!
Evie had a great day! She is happy. While we walked around the
hotel she was singing! (Of course we couldn’t tell what all the
words were, but it was really special!) Later she started saying
da-da and Hi. She echoed us calling for Maddie by saying “Mad”.
Maddie gave her kisses and she laughed and laughed!!
