Sunday, December 13, 2009 We had a pretty leisurely morning today as we didn’t have any plans until our Temple tour. The tour of Six Banyan Temple was cool. There was a pagoda, several Buddha statues and lots of incense around. It was interesting that such a quiet place could be in the middle of a bustling city like Guangzhou. Caroline, Mom, and Dad all went up for the traditional blessing and then we spent some time exploring the rest of the temple. When we got back we had dinner at Pizza Hut- at least it’s a change from Papa John’s and walked back to our hotel. Tomorrow we’ll do some more shopping on Shamian Island and go to the Pearl Market which we have been looking forward to. Oh yes and did we mention WE’LL BE HOME IN FOUR DAYS!! Goodnight from Guangzhou!
