Friday, December 11, 2009 Today was our first free day with no appointments. We decided to spend some more time on Shamian Island. It was a really beautiful day- sunny and warm. We did some shopping and walked through the park. Then we had lunch at Lucy’s and finished up our shopping. We all really enjoyed the time and the beautiful weather. Caroline had a great day. We are having an oil portrait painted of her in the traditional Chinese dress to bring home. Now Caroline high-fives, blows kisses, and is starting to play games. Her favorite game is to drop things on the floor and watch a family member retrieve it… and repeat. We don’t have plans yet for tomorrow but we will be sure to update. Good night!
