Thursday, December 10, 2009 This morning was Caroline’s medical exam on Shamian Island. We got up early and walked through the markets. It was a 20 minute walk from our hotel and many interesting vendors lined the route to Shamian Island. All went well at Caroline’s checkup- thank goodness! After, we spent the day on Shamian Island shopping, seeing the Pearl River, and meandering through the White Swan Hotel. We had fun today as Shamian Island is beautiful and we had nice weather. More tomorrow. Goodnight until tomorrow. Love, Us
