WE GOT THE CALL!
On July 30, 2006, at 9:52 a.m., we received the long
awaited “referral” phone call from Traci at Christian
World Adoption Agency. She gave me all the information
about our precious baby girl and then asked if she could
e-mail me pictures. With tears of joy, we said, “Why, of
course!” It was love at first sight for all of us! Here is
the information we received from the orphanage where our
daughter is waiting to join her Forever Family!

Chinese Name: Fu Li Hui
Admission
Fu Li Hui, female, was found by Yutangzu Road Huajiang Town by a
villager, Wang An Yong, on 4/1/2005. The local police made
several attempts to locate her parents/family with no results.
She stayed with Mr. And Mrs. Wang An Yong from 4/1/2005 to
10/27/2005 and then brought to our SWI with the permission of
county Civil Affairs Office on 10/27/2005. She was examined in
Guanling County Clinic. She weighed 6kg; her height was 70cm,
with head circumference of 45cm. Her fontanel was 0.5x0.5cm; no
deformities in spine, skull, 4 limbs; her cries were loud, and
she was pronounced as a healthy infant. Based on the time of the
infant being found, her DOB was estimated as 2/18/2005. We named
Her Fu (last name), Li (gains/advantage) Hui (favor/kindness).
Conditions After Admission
Since her admission, Fu Li Hui eats and sleeps with other kids
at the SWI and lives a group life. She gets physicals in the
same clinic and gets vaccines according to requirement. She had
a physical at Anshun People’s Hospital on 3/10/2006. She weighed
9kg; her height was 80cm, with head circumference of 46cm. Her
mental development was normal; she had normal hearing, throat;
oral cavity, lungs, heart, and had normal results for tests
(blood routines, urine routines, Hepatitis B, HIV, and
syphilis). Diagnosis: Normal. Fu Li Hui can call out:”Baba,
Mama, No; Yes”, etc., simply sounds. Fu Li Hui is pretty and
lovely. She especially likes the music; when she is in her
walking chair and hears the music, she’d laugh happily and wave
her hands. She likes to roll around in her bed. She especially
likes her care taker. When her care taker plays with her, she
laughs non-stop. She is doing very well under the careful care
of the care takers. She is healthy and strong. And has normal
development.
Routines
When Fu Li Hui was first admitted to the SWI, she had a bottle
of milk every morning, one before nap and one before bed. She
eats congee with ground meat or steamed eggs for breakfast; rice
with ground meat or noodles for lunch; drinks a bottle of milk
before nap time; and rice with ground meat or eggs rice for
supper. She drinks a bottle of milk before bed and sleeps
through the night. She has good appetite, loves vegetable juice
and fruit juice. She loves taking baths. Fu Li Hui gets up
between 7:00am and 7:30am, naps from 10:00am to 11:00am and
2:00pm to 4:00pm. She goes to bed between 8:00pm and 8:30pm.
Personality
Fu Li Hui is quiet and graceful. She is smart and lovely. She is
a very lovable child. Her favorite toys are dolls, rattles and
blocks. Her favorite activities are playing games with
caretakers and hearing music. |
