This is our last posting from China. We just had a nice
final swim and massage and now it’s almost 2:00PM. We are
packing up to check out by 3:00PM.
This has truly been an incredible journey on so many levels.
Culturally enriching to Michelle and me, emotionally taxing, and
in the last few days some very important leisure time to bond
with our new daughter Ava Marie. We do lover her so dearly and
look forward to her introduction into her forever family. We
hope and pray that the next steps in her transition will go
smoothly. We have some behavior issues to address, some medical
appointments to attend to and a world of opportunities in the
USA!
Thanks to all of you who sent words of wisdom, comfort and
advice. It was nice having that connection to home.
Many, many thanks to our guide Richard. He handled everything
from pushing a stroller, hailing cabs and professionally dealing
with Chinese and US Government officials. He made our journey
run smooth.
The next post will be from the comfort of HOME!
See everyone in Seattle soon!
