SAFARI PARK
Well it's happened, we are all ready to go home. Living in a
hotel room and eating out every day has gotten to us.
We started the morning early with the breakfast buffet, Steve is
still not feeling quite himself yet and didn't eat much.
We met other families in the lobby for the 45 minute ride to the
Safari. When we arrived it looked like it was a popular day for
the school
kids. There were about ten different groups of kids. Since we
arrived early we were able to get the passes to see the triplet
panda babies.
They were born on 8/12/14 and are just over three months old. We
started with a train ride through the safari. Again we are
amazed by the selection
of animals that they have. So many animals of each breed. Hope
loved pointing at all the animals. After the safari we walked
through the dinosaur exhibit.
Several of the areas were new from our visit five years ago.
They also added a snake and horse exhibit. The kids really
enjoyed getting to see the triplet panda bears.
The kids also got to ride a few rides in the children's area.
We returned back to the hotel early and we were exhausted. We
took a short break and decided to head out for an early dinner
so we could get to bed for our early Consulate appointment in the morning. We ate at a great middle eastern
restaurant. Hope continues to be a good eater, eating more than
her brothers at some meals.
Tomorrow we will have our Consulate appointment and then the
Pearl River Cruise at night.
Four more full days! We miss everyone and can't wait for you all
to meet Hope! |
