This past March 28th we celebrated our 5 year "Gotcha Day" in
Disney with our beautiful girls, Grace and Samantha.
We spent 7 days swimming, going on rides , laughing and of
course meeting Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang. Grace
loved all the rides and having dinner with all her favorite
princesses at Cinderella's Castle. We visited Magic Kingdom,
Animal Kingdom , Epcot , Universal Studios and Typoon Lagoon our
favorite water park. Lots of walking but Grace was such a
trooper - she even went on 2 roller coasters our little dare
devil. It was a trip we won't soon forget..
Grace is in kindergarten now and dong so well. She loves school
and has lots of friends and this year joined a Daisy troop with
some of her friends. Grace wanted to be a girl scout just like
her sister and now she is ...so she is very proud! She is taking
swim lessons with Hannah her BFF and looking forward to camp
this summer and just enjoying being 6!!!!
Time has gone by quickly and our little girl is growing up and
her personality continues to shine. She is so funny and quick
witted, extremely loving and a great little sister to Samantha.
Paul and I could not be more blessed with our 2 amazing
daughters who make us so proud.
Grace loves her swing set and loves to sing and be silly while
jumping on her trampoline. We spend a lot of time in the garden
planting flowers and will be planting our vegetable garden soon.
Uncle Bill (Uncie) spoils her rotten and she adores him. He
spend a lot of time with Grace and Samantha and even came with
us on our Disney trip. She loves to play Super Mario with her
Daddy, Uncie and Samantha and she is getting quite good.
We are looking forward to enjoying the summer with her Auntie
Kim and Glenn on Glenn's boat and maybe even try some tubing.
She loves the water and with learning how to swim this year its
going to be a lot of fun.
Today is Mother's Day and we will celebrate with having brunch
and enjoying her Grandma , her Lola and seeing all her cousins
who she adores. She loves her mommy and I love her .. she made
me so many beautiful cards that she colored and wrote the
sweetest things about me.
She has her daddy wrapped around her finger. No matter how tired
he is he can never say no to playing Mario or jumping on
trampoline . Samantha and Grace are as close as sisters can be.
The 10 year gap in age in our case has been a huge blessing.
Samantha is such a great big sister. She gets her off the bus
for me everyday and helps Grace with her homework and of course
gives into watching all her TV shows ..LOL (most of the time).
We also have a new dog Lucy a Goldendoodle . She is so much fun.
Samantha and Grace picked her out and she is the perfect match
for us .. fun, loving and adorable.
Thank you all for following our story... it's been an amazing 5
years. |
