Happy Easter to everyone! We are having our Easter dinner ,
McDonalds and believe it or not it taste pretty good. We had a
lot of fun today. We spent the day at the China Safari. What a
great place. Nothing like the Bronx Zoo which is beautiful but
most of the time the animals are far away and you can barely see
them . Not the case at this safari zoo. We took a little train
ride around the park where cars are also allowed to drive, young
children sitting on top of cars and lots of kids hanging out of
sunroofs to get a better views. Paul and I could not get over
how these kids parents would let their kids ride on top of cars
with no seatbelts and large animals roaming all around us. All
different types of Tigers, panda bears and giraffes only about 5
feet away. Samantha was able to hold a baby Tiger and a
beautiful parrot. We took a ton of pictures and I am posting a
few. Lunch at the zoo - one word DISGUSTING. Sausage on a stick,
Calamari on a stick , noodles, dumplings or a pork sandwich. We
ordered the pork sandwich and believe it or not we threw it out.
Samantha had popcorn for lunch and Paul decided his beer was
good enough. Grace was fantastic. She loves her carriage now.
She is very nosy and spent the day staring at people and all the
animals.
The bathrooms are not what we are used to in the great USA. I
posted a picture of the ladies rooms. These are Chinese toilets.
Thanks goodness they do have handicap bathrooms which we chose
to use instead.
Tomorrow we are heading back to the medical office to have
Grace’s friend Tessa’s TB shot checked. We will be doing some
shopping and exploring and then off the the pool for the girls
to swim.
Please continue to sign our guest book . We go to it everyday
and it’s a way of keeping in touch with everyone. Jack is going
to take us to the Pearl Market and made a reservation for a
dinner cruise on Wednesday night.
Good night and hope everyone has a great Easter Sunday.
